I’m Richie Mensah, a creative visionary, music executive, author, and host of the Masterminds podcast. But more than that, I’m a firm believer in turning chaos into clarity, setbacks into systems, and raw talent into legacy.
My story starts in Burma Camp, Ghana. I was a kid with too much energy and too many questions. Living with undiagnosed ADHD, school was frustrating, but music? Music made sense. I could sit at a piano for hours, and in that space, I found rhythm, focus, and purpose.
After years of grinding behind the scenes, producing records, building artists, learning how the industry moves, I founded Lynx Entertainment in 2006. What started as a record label grew into something bigger: Lynx Group, a multi-subsidiary creative ecosystem empowering artists, storytellers, and brands across music, video, tech, and talent.
But I didn’t stop there.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t just building companies, I was building people. I was mentoring teams, guiding talent, helping young creatives reframe how they saw themselves. That mindset work led to my first book, Yes, It’s Your Fault, and then to the launch of Masterminds, my podcast for driven individuals looking to transform their lives from the inside out.
I believe success isn’t found — it’s built.
I believe mindset is more important than motivation.
And I believe the biggest shifts in your life begin the moment you take full ownership of it.
Everything I create, from a studio session to a business strategy to a podcast episode, is guided by a few core values:
If any of those resonate with you, then we’re already speaking the same language.
